What is the best way to promote a new B to B web site at an industry trade show?

Can you answer lakeside35057’s question about Displays?:

We have a new wholesale (only) fine jewelry web site that we want to promote at a regional trade show next month. What kind of give-aways, signage, etc. is most effective at getting the owners of retail jewelry stores to our web site.

Displays Feedback: The key at tradeshows is to stand out. One of the most effective ways is to have an element of interaction. Signing up for a giveaway is the most obvious example, if not the most effective since your target audience (ie retailers) will not be that interested in your giveaway (unless something spectacular like a car). I’ve seen remote control cars, basketball hoops, massages, all used to generate traffic around a booth.
To promote a website, generate traffic and drives sales, the two best ways are with a PPC campaign with Yahoo Search Marketing or Google Adwords, or go the organic route and start an SEO campaign with someone like Virante.
