What is the most unique/cool thing you have seen at a trade show or convention?

Can you answer Bill D’s question about Displays?:

I have to put on a booth at a convention/trade show and was wondering what any cool things anyone has seen that brought in the attendees to visit the booth. Thanks.

Displays Feedback: We wrap vehicles live during tradeshows in the booths. That usually draws a huge crowd because people have never seen it done before. I have also seen a simulated racing game that attracted a lot of attention. If you want to do the car wrapping idea, we can help.

My other suggestion would be depending on the size of the booth… use fabric banners lit up from the ground… very cook effect. Go to to see some examples.

Displays Feedback: Of course it would depend on how much space you have, etc. The coolest things I’ve seen at a trade show is to include some sort of game with a prize. You can get silly prizes at the dollar store, or whatever logo’d stuff you already have. Like, there are portable golf games, a “wheel of fortune”, things like that. Anything interactive is great. People are attracted & want to try it! Also - I never go to a tradeshow with out lots of candy! Usually chocolate will get you some traffic! If you can get cool logo’d stuff - some things that went really well were “magnetic chip clips”, cool pens, of course, and any other types of give-aways.
