What are common exhibit mistakes?

Answered By Editor

As an exhibitor, it's easy to make mistakes at your first show. It takes experience to get your booth presentation polished. Below is a list of some of the most common mistakes:

* No proper marketing plan. There should be an exhibit marketing plan and tactical plan of action, because this is the critical starting point.

* No well-defined promotional plan. There should also be a proper and well-defined plan for promotion.

* Ineffective use of direct mail. The effective use of direct mail is still one of the most popular promotional vehicles for exhibitors.

* Ineffective use of press relations. Publicity is the most effective and successful method of generating a large volume of direct inquiries and sales.
